The winning poster in the Supplier category is Identification and Characterization of Raw Materials Using FTIR and ICP-MS for Bioproduction Application, by Duncan Omune, PhD; Nuvjeevan S. Dosanjh, PhD; Yingtao Chai, PhD; Ronald Sanford, Darryl Dickerson, and Elizabeth C. Dodson, PhD from BD Advanced Bioprocessing in Maryland, USA. This poster highlights an advance in analytical method development and presents its application to assessing the quality and consistency of raw materials, an area of heightened interest these days.
The winning poster in the End User/Academic category is Continuous Mammalian Cell Culture: Characterizatioon and Comparison of Two Perfusion Setups by Daniel Karst, Elisa Serra, Massimo Morbidelli, and Miroslav Soos from the Institute for Chemical and Bioengineering, ETH, in Zurich. The authors of the end user poster are advancing progress toward the realization of continuous processing. Their poster is a clear visual presentation of their data and conclusions.
