This webcast features: Chris Schultz, PhD, Team Leader, Centre for Process Innovation, National Biologics Manufacturing Centre.
Accelerated timelines and cost reduction are critical in today’s bioprocessing environment, but it is imperative to ensure product quality is unaffected by process modifications. At-line and on-line technologies that inform bioprocess parameters and cell-feeding strategies are needed to develop processes that deliver high-quality products while reducing manufacturing costs.
At the Centre for Process Innovation (CPI), bioprocessing experts work with partners across diverse markets in the UK and around the world, driving innovative technologies forward while helping collaborators reduce the risks and costs associated with product development. At CPI, Chris Schultz, PhD has led a project to optimize a CHO bioprocess done in collaboration with 908 Devices. The goal was to optimize monoclonal antibody production and CHO health through information-based decision-making to select and use appropriate commercially available cell culture medias and feeds.
In this webinar, Schultz provides insights on using at-line spent media analysis and on-line glucose and lactate monitoring for the optimization of feeding strategy.
Key takeaways:
Accelerate process development by data-driven decision making.
Reduce cost of goods whilst improving process health.
Use at-line and on-line technology to characterize bioprocesses and improve product yield.
